Adderley face Champs, Ifton & Dragons clash, Bottom Two away
Adderley face the league Champions Sir John Bayley in week 12 of the Taylor Support Shropshire Premier Bowling League. They know they will need to be at their best to surprise the Champions who have lost just once this season, and know with their nearest two rivals not playing, it gives them an opportunity to create some distance between them. The two teams below Adderley in the table both face trips to Shrewsbury. Horsehay, having come off a win last week against Adderley, go to Meole Brace who after a good run have lost their last four games. Bylet, level with Horsehay, go to Hanwood, who will be looking to respond after a home loss to Wrockwardine Wood last week, just after a good run themselves. Ifton travel to St Georges looking to gain on the two teams above them, while St Georges will look to close the gap between them and Ifton. Ifton captain Dickie Jones says “it’s a tough place to go to at the best of times but with several players missing it will be even harder!” St Georges skipper Josh Bradburn says it will be a “difficult game against a side that at full strength can push for the title in my opinion, so looking forward to a tight and competitive game.” Wem USC and Burway will look to bounce back from disappointing results last Friday as they meet on Leek Street. Hanmer travel the long distance to Highley with just two points separating the teams in the middle of the table.
