Telford Derby, Fields face in form Burway, Bottom two away
There is a big Telford derby as St Georges host Wrockwardine Wood in week 21 of the Taylor Support Shropshire Premier Bowling League. Both teams are aiming for a top 3 spot, which Wrockwardine Wood have held pretty much all season. St Georges captain Josh Bradburn is “looking forward to the game, always a tasty game between the two teams! The atmosphere should be loud so we need to be on it from the off.” League leaders Sir John Bayley will look to bounce back from 3 winners at Castlefields last week as they entertain Hanmer, who come off a home loss against Ifton last week. The Fields face a tough away game at an in form Burway who are in 7th place and looking for their first top half finish in the league.
The bottom two are both away from home, with bottom placed Horsehay travelling to an in form Ifton in 4th place, while the Bylet go to Meole Brace, who come off a narrow loss at Hanwood last week. Hanwood themselves travel to Wem USC who have had an up and down season at home so far. Adderley are one place behind Wem and host Highley, who have won their last 3 games.
