Comments: Hanwood were 9 points worse off than in 2023 and a place further down but given they had lost some players it was still a solid season overall with some good results. They lost two games at home to Sir John Bayley and Wrockwardine Wood, but did beat the league winners Castlefields 10-4 and 3rd placed Ifton 11-3 as well as whitewashing Adderley 14-0. Away from home and they won just the one game at Highley 9-7 as their lack of away wins prevented them from finishing top 6 again. They had a good run to the Semi Finals of the Alan Mayhew Trophy, but withdrew from the two Pool A competitions.
Winter Aims: To keep the core of their team together and add some strength in depth, and hopefully pick up some more away wins next season.
