2024 Aim: The aim this year is to push for top 3 and really compete with the big boys of the league. We have strengthened this season and now have a stronger squad not just a good 12 so really believe we can mix it with anyone.

Comments: St Georges couldn’t push on and make the top three as they dropped a place down to 5th. They started well, winning 5 of their first 6 games, including an 11-5 and 12-4 away win at Horsehay and Adderley respectively. But just three winners at Wrockwardine Wood, then 4 winners at Highley and a home loss to Castlefields halted their good start, but did win 14-2 in a rain delayed Bylet game. Their home form was good for the rest of the season, including a whitewash at home to Horsehay, and did add an away win at Wem USC 11-5, but just 4 winners in three of their last four away games meant they missed out on a top three spot.
Winter Aims: Rumours of losing a few players will mean one of the most important Winters the club has faced in trying to keep a competitive team in the league. It could be a very different team that starts 2025 to the one who finished 2024.
