Three qualifying spaces are left in the SPBL Merit, with 22 players looking to claim them, 6 of those former winners!
Defending champion Callum Wraight is one of those, he is at Sir John Bayley along with 1995 winner Rich Goddard and 2003 champion Dale Downes.
2014 winner Mike Beer is at Hanwood, along with the person he beat in that final, and 2023 runner up, Jamie King. Camila Parsonage is in great form after reaching the final of the Bylet Open, and Wayne Rogers was a finalist in this in 2017. Sarah Weaver won the Mike Hinton Pairs earlier this year, but will need to go it alone at Hanwood.
Wrockwardine Wood sees two time winner Stuart Rutter there, along with another former winner Josh Bradburn. Sam Mantom has impressed in his debut season with Highley, and is there with his captain Simon Rhodes.
There is one qualifier from each venue.
