Congratulations to Flowfit Shropshire Premier League team Meole Brace who got through the BCGBA Club Championships yesterday at Irlam. They got through the 1st round against Florence T&BC from Potteries by having the best winner and then beat Haunchwood by 12 in the second round.
They go back for the last 8 next week and the Flowfit Shropshire Premier League would like to wish them the best of luck. They start against Thongsbridge from Yorkshire on green no.1.
Also in action next week are players from Hadley USC in Jamie Wyer and Steve Homer playing for Dudley Dell and Aaron Tapper, Chris Ward and Gordon Hawkins from SJB and Andy Duckett from Castlefields in the M&B Cheslyn Hay side.
Newport have played in the championship but lost first round to Bradfield from South Yorkshire.
