Taylor Support Shropshire Premier Bowls League
The top two in the Flowfit Shropshire Premier League clash on Wednesday night for the right to take on Burway in the Alan Mayhew Trophy Final this Saturday. Meole Brace and Newport faced each other in last year’s Mayhew final with Newport coming out on top so Meole will be out to reverse that score. Meole beat Newport 9-5 when the two met in the league so that maybe will help Newport with having played their green but Meole will be confident of getting through with their good start to the season.
If Meole Brace win, the final will be played at Hadley USC, and if Newport win will be played at Pontesbury Nags Head green, starting at either 6 or half 6 with John Coxill being our referee. Details will be confirmed tomorrow night.
