There is a North Shropshire Clash tonight in the Flowfit Shropshire Premier League as Chester Road take on Wem USC. The two teams are 11th and 10th respectively and a good result for either could move them up into 7th place. Chester Road’s home form has been good, with only Meole Brace and Castlefields winning there by a handful of shots. Home captain Martin Lloyd says “hopefully we can get a good result to move us up the table a bit. Our home form has been good and a local derby should keep the concentration up.” But Wem USC are looking to pick up their away form after getting a single point in their last two away games, albeit against the top two, which has caused them to move them down from 4th place in the table back at the start of May. Looking at history though Wem have only got 5 points once since they won there in 1998 so Chester Road will be looking for a good home win.
