Comments:
Wrockwardine Wood improved immeasurably under the leadership of Stuart Clee this season challenging the top 3 in the latter half of the season before just finishing 11 points behind 2nd in 7th and only 5 points off 4th. Their home form was the key, only suffering one shock defeat to Wem USC 5-9, which included a remarkable 36 points off 3 home games in July and then a 11-3 win away at Hadley USC which moved them towards the top of the table. They had produced an awesome result winning at 3rd placed Ifton earlier in the season 8-6, and then did this again winning at Burway 10-4 in the third last game, denying both teams an unbeaten home record. But despite being 4th going into the last game of the season, they only scored 2 at Castlefields and just dipped outside the top 6. But it was still a good season to right the wrongs of 2014.
They lost 1st round of the Alan Mayhew to Burway by 14, and after edging Bowring by 4 in the 1st round, lost by 10 to Hadley USC in Pool B.
