Comments: Sir John Bayley were many people’s favourites to win the league but just never got going at all this season. They lost two games at home and drew another, but did win 5 away games over the season. They were only two points off from finishing 2nd, but were a massive 56 points off the league winners. They did well in the two cups though, reaching the final of both, and winning the Pool A to give them some silverware for this season.
