Sir John Bayley Mixed Doubles Preview

The Sir John Bayley Mixed Doubles runs today and 25 pairs look to claim the trophy. Last year’s winners Lisa Pessall & Chris Grocott look to retain the trophy, but last year’s runners-up Sonya Lucas & Pete Grimston will aim to go one better, especially after winning the Mid Shropshire Dixon & Driscoll Doubles last week. Cheryl Caswell & Scott Harries have won plenty of trophies between them, while Jen Rogers & Chris Worthington have won the Prince of Wales Hotel Doubles before. Jackie & Stuart Rutter have won titles with each other but will pair with Paul Beer & Ali Cotton this time round.

The burger van from Meole Brace will be there most of the day so you will be able to get hot food from there for breakfast dinner and tea! Drinks are available from the club.

There is no dress code.

It should be a great day of action.
